My wife and I collaborated on this versification of Psalm 42 to encourage our congregation (and the church everywhere) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The folk tune “Shenandoah” invokes a sense of longing to underscore the psalmist’s desire for a return to corporate worship in the house of God.
